Lookin’ good, my fellow French Pleat Makers!
Thank you for all your photos this week, it’s been great to see you developing your techniques, and playing around with new styles. I’m so proud of you!
I’m letting you in on my #100pleats100days journey here:
Before this challenge, I was not a French-Pleat-wearer. *gasp*
You can’t really see it from my photos, but my head-shape is very rounded. This means that chignons, buns, top-knots and ponytails are all very flattering styles for me, but french pleats are not so much, and so I would hardly ever wear one. My personal goal for this challenge was to work on my technique and learn to make this classic style work for me.
I think I’m seeing some progress; after a few days solid pleat-wearing, I am feeling less self-conscious about the shape it creates, and I did get a compliment on my commuter train into work today. It’s the little things…
If you haven’t tried a hair fork yet, it’s a great technique to master. Once you’ve got it, it’s so easy that it’ll be your go-to, 3 second hairstyle.

Here are some of the lovely pleats our other entrants have sent in this week:
Remember, if you need any help, feel free to give me shout. Send me an email to Claire@Stone-Bridge.co.uk, and I’ll be there in flash.
Enjoy your weekend, and keep your pleats coming!
